Hatsan striker 1000s rifle review.

Here is my hatasn striker 1000s with a HAWK 3-9x50 scope :

Pros of the rifle:
The rifle comes with an anti-bear trap system to stop the gun from fire ring when it is being coked. It has a nice set of sights witch help with far range targets .The rifle is surprisingly accurate for the price range that it is in, the rifle can manage a 2.5 cm group at 30m with the scope on. Having a hollow stock means it is not too bad on the weight side and it will not be a problem for hunters to carry it all day long. The Hatsan has a muzzle velocity of 1000 FPS with lead bullets so that means your bullet will go straight thru a bird at 40m.It also has an adjustable trigger and a rubber padded but stock. This is by far the best rifle for the price range although you may want to buy a scope if you are going to stretch this gun out beyond 35m.
Cons of the rifle:
The bad thing about having a hollow stock is that the rifle echo's when it is fired because of this. The recoil of the rifle is not bad but wouldn't recommend it for young shooters. The screws om my rifle came loss after a while but that whas fixed with a screw driver.

This is a very good well, built rifle that i would recommend for new shooters that want to trade in there BB guns for something a little bigger.

How to shoot an air rifle accurately.

Many of us have tried to hit that stubborn bird that sits and poop on your newly washed car or just that simple paper target in the back yard but ended up missing .I am going to teach you how to shoot an air rifle with great precision.

First of all you should know that you are not going to get a 1ince grouping a 100 yards with a poorly built air rifle. The same apply for your scope. I would recommend buying a air rifle scope that is rated for the air rifles recoil. Buying a scope that is made for centerfire rifles and putting it on a air rifle would simply destroy the scope.
1.Always hold the rifle as light as you can and in the exact same way every time to build muscle memory.
2. Remember to have good trigger control as this the main reason shooters miss there target. You should squeeze the trigger very slowly until the gun goes off and not jerk it.
3. Breathing is just as important a trigger control. If you are ready to take the shot inhale 3 times and slowly exhale. At this point your body is saturated with oxygen and you are in the best position to take the shot.
4. Using quality ammunition in your air rifle will increase your accuracy while keeping in mind every rifle is unique and performs better with some types of ammunitions. It is best to buy a trial pack and see with your rifle prefer.
5. Practise makes perfect when it comes to shooting. Go to your local range and just put some rounds down range.
Remember SAFTY first, never shoot or point at anything you don’t intend to shoot.
            Good luck and happy hunting!
